New “Kid’s Corner” at MFHA Headquarters

Jr Gray Hopton 19 8The MFHA is creating a “Kid’s Corner” display at the MFHA office to highlight juniors. (Pictured Gray Hopton. Photo by Molly Thompson-Hopton)

Calling all kids! To celebrate and encourage the future leaders of our sport, we’ve created a “Kid’s Corner” at the MFHA office. Our display features our Fairly Hunted award certificates and pins, A Kids’ Guide to Foxhunting, My First Foxhunt coloring book, and Pageant’s Miraculous Journey.

We would love to include a junior’s attire in our display! Please consider loaning the MFHA a tweed coat, junior hunt whip, helmet, or other well-loved attire. We will proudly display your item along with a small sign signifying who it’s from and which hunt your junior hunted with. It’s a great way to demonstrate the talent and style of our juniors. A small saddle, bridle, or other hunting tack can also be displayed.

Please contact us with any questions about the new Kid’s Corner. Email us at office@mfha.com.

Submit Photos for Fall Issue of Covertside

Attention all photographers – please send us your favorite photos from your club!

Our fall issue of Covertside will look a bit different this year and will be a special issue celebrating all of our hunts. It will include the hunt roster as well. If each hunt could submit their favorite photo to office@mfha.com by August 28, then we can showcase the best images in this issue.

Please make sure your images are high-resolution!

Any questions? Get in touch with the MFHA office – office@mfha.com.

2020 Masters’ Ball Photo Gallery

In late January, members from all across the country gathered together for two days of fellowship and celebration during the MFHA Annual Meeting hosted by The Pierre, one of New York City’s premier hotels. One of the highlights is the annual Masters’ Ball, held on Thursday night, offering past and present Masters the opportunity to reconnect with long-time friends and leaders of the sport.

Helen Houghton was on-hand to capture wonderful moments throughout the evening’s festivities. Below is a selection of photos – view the complete gallery here.
